AIRY produziert ab sofort in Bad Iburg

AIRY now produces in Bad Iburg

It is done: In the first week of August, we completely relocated our production. This lays the foundation for our further growth. ✅

The journey took us from Hiddenhausen (NRW) to Bad Iburg (Lower Saxony), just 42 kilometers away. AIRY remains 100% made in Germany. This morning, the last injection molding tools arrived at our new production partner Trentmann GmbH & Co.KG.

The production relocation was a difficult undertaking. And literally so. The tool sets for our three biofilters (AIRY S, M, and L) weigh over 30 tons in total. The mold for our largest component, the outer shell of the AIRY L, alone consists of a proud 4,900 kilograms of stainless steel. That corresponds to the weight of five elephants! 🐘 It is used on a machine that operates with a clamping force of 650 tons. Fascinating numbers, aren't they? And all this so that our AIRY L can supply rooms of up to 30 sqm with fresh air around the clock. 🌱 💪

The tool alone at the front right weighs almost 5 tons.

Clearly visible: The shape of the inner basket for our AIRY M.
