The minds behind AIRY
AIRY Green Solutions GmbH is a family-run company based in Hamburg. It is managed by Elisabeth and Peer-Arne Böttcher.
We produce and sell a system for indoor air purification that is unique in the world. Production takes place in Bad Iburg (Lower Saxony). The mineral substrate we use comes from the Eifel region and the plants from our Dutch partners are quality-tested by our nursery in Celle.

Air is our most important food
An adult breathes in around 12,000 liters of air every day. That's the equivalent of 15 kilograms! If the air is polluted, headaches, discomfort and illnesses can result. If the air quality is good, however, it leads to greater well-being, restful sleep and better concentration at work.
Our mission: better indoor air quality – simply and effectively.
The AIRY system works with houseplants. NASA studies have shown that certain plants collect pollutants from the air and break them down through their roots. AIRY accelerates this process by first filtering the air through a special mineral substrate. This filter is cleaned by the plant roots 24/7. Without expensive electricity or annoying noises and filter changes. Easy to care for even for people without a “green thumb” and perfect for every room.
