Diese Pflanzen passen zu deinem Raumtyp

These plants suit your room type

Plants bring life to our rooms, improve the indoor climate, and enhance our well-being. But not every plant feels equally comfortable in every room. To help you find the perfect green roommate, we have put together a checklist.

Living Room – The Green Centerpiece

The living room is often the central room of the apartment – here people relax, read, and receive guests. Large, striking plants set accents here and create a cozy atmosphere.

Recommended plants:

Areca Palm (Dypsis lutescens): With its elegant fronds, it brings tropical flair to the living room and improves air quality.

Monstera (Monstera deliciosa): Its characteristic large leaves are a real eye-catcher and give the room an urban jungle atmosphere.

Bedroom – A peaceful oasis with a green touch

In the bedroom, we want a relaxing environment. Plants that release oxygen at night and purify the air are ideal here – especially true CAM plants (Crassulacean Acid Metabolism), which also absorb CO₂ at night. Sounds complicated, but it's brilliant for healthy sleep.

Recommended plants:

Snake Plant 'Laurentii' (Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii'):
Easy to care for and robust, it filters pollutants from the air and as a CAM plant even releases oxygen at night – perfect for bedroom climate.

Snake Plant 'Zeylanica' (Sansevieria zeylanica): Similar to 'Laurentii', this variety impresses with dark green, slightly wavy leaves and is also a CAM plant with nocturnal air purification. And completely insensitive to neglect.

Office and Study – Concentration and Freshness

A pleasant indoor climate promotes productivity. Plants that filter pollutants and require little care are ideal here.

Recommended plants:

Dragon Tree (Dracaena marginata) Its slender leaves and upright growth make it the perfect companion for the workplace.

Weeping Fig (Ficus benjamina) With its numerous small leaves, it creates a fresh atmosphere and improves air quality.

Kitchen – Fresh boost for the cooking area

The kitchen often has higher temperatures and higher humidity. Plants that cope well with this are in demand here.

Recommended plants:

Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum): It is extremely easy to care for, copes with different conditions, and filters pollutants from the air.

Flamingo Flower (Anthurium andreanum): Its colorful flowers bring life to the kitchen and it thrives well in high humidity.

Bathroom – Tropical feeling for the wellness oasis

High humidity and changing temperatures characterize the bathroom. Plants that love these conditions feel comfortable here.

Recommended plants:

Orchid (Phalaenopsis): It loves high humidity and brings a touch of luxury to the bathroom with its elegant flowers.

Areca Palm (Dypsis lutescens): It also makes a good impression here and ensures a pleasant room climate.

Hallway and entrance area – Welcome with greenery

The entrance area is the house's business card. Robust plants that tolerate changing light conditions are ideal here.

Recommended plants:

Snake Plant 'Laurentii' (Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii'): Its upright leaves fit perfectly in narrow hallways and it requires little light.

Dragon Tree (Dracaena marginata): Its slender growth is well suited for corners and adds height to the room.

The right plant in the right place can work wonders – for your well-being and the room climate. With this checklist, you'll find the perfect green companion for every room.

Hallo Marcus,
