Caring for a dragon tree (Dracaena) requires a few special measures to keep the plant healthy and happy.

Care tips for the dragon tree

Light

Dragon trees love bright, indirect sunlight. Place the plant where it gets enough light but avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.

Temperature

Keep the room temperature constant between 18°C and 24°C. Dragon trees do not like sudden temperature fluctuations.

Irrigation

Let the mineral substrate dry out slightly between waterings. Dragon trees are sensitive to root rot if watered too often or too heavily. It's best to water mainly through the water tank.

Humidity

Dragon trees do well with normal indoor humidity, but occasionally misting the leaves can help keep them healthy.

Fertilization

During the growing season (spring and summer), fertilize your dragon tree every 4-6 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer. In winter, you can reduce or even stop fertilizing.

Follow these tips to ensure your dragon tree thrives healthy and happy in a mineral substrate. Remember that each plant has individual needs, so regularly watch for signs of problems and respond accordingly.
