How do I water the first few weeks?

Please pour directly over the substrate around the plants for the first six weeks. The potting soil absorbs the water and the roots slowly grow into the water tank.

The water level indicator will not move because the amount of water is not sufficient for that.

We recommend the following amounts for the first six weeks:

Snake plant:

• AIRY S 250 ml water 1x per week
• AIRY M 500 ml water 1x per week
• AIRY L 750 ml water 1x per week

All other plants:

• AIRY S 250 ml water 2x per week
• AIRY M 500 ml water 2x per week
• AIRY L 750 ml water 2x per week

If it is very warm and/or dry where you are or if a lot of sun falls into the room, you should definitely adjust the amount.

After six weeks you can pour directly into the water tank. How exactly the water tank works, you can read here.

EXCEPTION: Gold fruit palm. It likes it when you pour one third of the water over the substrate and the rest into the water tank.

Please DO NOT fertilize for the first two months. The plants need time to adjust to your environment and the indoor air.
